This clear RGB LED features - in addition to the common cathode - three pins to trigger the colours Red, Blue and Green.

Through Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) you can mix all three achieving a wide range of the RGB spectrum, or just use them as three status indicators.

To protect the RGB LED, each colour pin has a 1kΩ limiting resistors.
